A man who was arrested after allegedly raping his wife and threatening to kill her in a Los Angeles hotel room has been released from custody, authorities announced Tuesday.
Authorities arrested the man, who allegedly admitted to the rape, but not the killing.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office says he’s currently being held on $50,000 bail.
The man has not been charged in the slaying of his wife.
Authorities said they’re looking for a man they say is responsible for a number of recent assaults in Los Angeles.
One of the incidents involved a man allegedly attacking a woman in the parking lot of a Los Feliz apartment complex, officials said.
Authorities also said that a man is believed to have attacked another woman in a residential area of the city, where he is also accused of assaulting another woman.
He is also believed to be responsible for an incident on a street in which two people were assaulted.
