Fox Law offices are in talks with the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office to purchase the offices in Nelson, Texas, according to a report in The News-Star.
Fox Law Office has been looking for a site to consolidate its office in the Dallas area, but the company was unable to find one, the paper reported.
Tancinos attorney, Steve Muhl, said Fox Law’s offices are the most sought after in the Nelson area.
Muhm said Fox law offices have offices in New Orleans, Austin, Houston and Dallas.
Fox is one of the largest private law firms in the country and is one the biggest law firms to have moved to the Lone Star State.
“We are happy to be able to partner with them and look forward to building on the good work they have done for us,” Muhs statement read.
Fox has offices in Fort Worth, Dallas and New Orleans.
Fox said the new location is in a shopping center and is located on a busy, residential street.
Fox and Nelson law offices were acquired in 2012.
Fox previously purchased Nelson’s office in December and is now leasing the space to the Nelson law office.
Nelson County is home to one of Texas’ poorest counties and has a poverty rate of 16.6 percent.
The county’s unemployment rate is about 20 percent, according the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
Fox, the second largest private office in Texas, is one half of the law firm’s law firm and employs more than 3,500 people.
The Nelson County law office is owned by Tancino’s legal team.
